I know, I know ... I'm really gone.

Things are running well lately. The novelty is that I finally upgraded version of the WordPress blog system I'm using. It was pretty quick to update. The hint is on account of a very useful plugin that does all the dirty work: the WordPress Automatic Upgrade , hint of Edson . What it took was trocentos migrate the plugins that I have here and had no maintenance or no longer exist, since I migrated from a version 2.1 to 2.6, which is very time difference!

But there came to be talking about update system does not! Not very polite to come here once a year to say that the updated system, right?

Yes, I'm back! Nor had I realized that the last post I made in the blog had been in late August 2004. Since then many things happened, and many others have changed. Starting with the name and address of the blog, formerly "Mr. Pipe Blog v0.1 "and was in http://pipe.oznek.com.br ( wayback machine ). Had this name before for two basic reasons: pipe is the name of the character '|', commonly used commands on Linux (ok, Windows too), and was also an addiction that I had to pipe (pipe is also a pipe in English). He also changed the blog system, which was formerly the Movable Type (and I dug long before he became something much more commercial), and is now the WordPress (which I remember being researched in 2004, but had not yet all I liked the MT ).

Like everything is new since 2005, decided to rename the blog. Indeed, 2005 was a landmark change for me. I returned to college to study, I cut the long hair she had long to his shoulders, one switched so many times in girlfriend, finally, a lot.

Finally I'm launching this blog!

It was planned long ago, and lack of availability, I could not put it in the air before. As you can see, the version is still 0.1. The layout is not ready, some parts are in English, or misaligned. But throughout this month, every new feature will be added and explained to everyone.

What is the purpose of this blog, anyway? Well, there are several. One is to tell a little about my personal life, since they say I'm somewhat limited to say the things that happen to me (many complain about it!), And who knows me knows that I am anyway. So, this blog would be an extension of personal communication (after not tell me "gosh, I had to read your blog, why not tell me ??"!!!). Another is to talk about a bit of technology and development, aimed at geeks and normal people, with detailed explanation, more or less as does my genial friend Jonas. Foster healthy discussion in relation to some social and political issues of technology is another focus (inherited from the times of the student movement in POLI). Fun and entertainment are also paramount to the survival of this blog!
